After I left the cinema I subconsciously started speaking with a French accent! That is exactly how influential Carine is! She is like a virus that takes your body and mind over and doesn't let you think straight. Not in simple terms anyway. She is a lady that wants more, that is not afraid to face her enemies and stays as down to earth as possible. She is a nan, global director for Harper's Bazaar, she runs her own magazine and various other projects whilst talking to her children every day.
This documentary pictures the fashion world from the other side of the lens. We are used to receiving the product and not always think about how many people were involved in taking one photograph. We tend to think that huge fashion people do not wear the same clothes twice and that they are unable to commit to their family. It is possible. Even if your best buddy is Karl Lagerfeld!
If you're even slightly into fashion it's a must watch. There's nor many documentaries like that about at the moment so every single one makes my heart jump. They put everything into perspective. A French one in this case...

Ok, a little retail therapy won't do any harm, right? As I was unable to surface out of my bed for the whole of last week I've decided to invest some money in a nice and warm coat. How awfully reasonable of me, eh? Coats have become my obsession lately... Guilty as charged. I just took very seriously what the weatherman said - we are expecting a rather chilly winter this year. Anyway, any excuse was good to get this simple black coat from Topshop. It basically looks like an oversized jacket that someone sew out of wool and put into a woman's wardrobe by mistake. Even better, I thought. I hope you like it as much as me. As I am no longer horizontal, I promise anew outfit post will be here soon!

I have to apologise for lack of posts lately... It is caused by a terribly stubborn bug that keeps me in bed and in no shape to be anywhere close to the camera... That is exactly why I am spending my time watching classic movies. 'To kill a mockingbird' is my favourite. That will probably be followed by 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' this afternoon. I might even squeeze 'Love actually' in before dinner. Yes, it is a bit more of a modern classic but still good enough to watch when poorly ;) Have a greta week everyone and look out for update son the blog soon!

After being obsessed with white nails here comes the nude! Just had my nails done and I couldn't be more in love with this shade of nude. I am waiting for my nails to grow a bit longer and then might experiment with embellishment. Cannot wait! What's your favourite nail colour of the season?
